[F4F] White Girl in Africana Studies (Wholesome slowburn interracial)

Please don’t take this as a raceplay/racism roleplay in disguise. I want this to be a cutesy wholesome roleplay, just I wanted to do a plot that wasn’t just with another white girl. And if the way I’ve written this roleplay comes off the wrong way, please tell me, I figured it’d be a cute rp but somethings words come off the wrong way. Thank you. And this is for women so men stay away.

I'm looking for quality partners. People who can do 3+ paragraphs per message, I usually do much more. One-liners and low-effort openers will get ignored. And please, I don't want ghosters at all. And I'll block anyone who comes in with AI stuff, whether it's AI-generated messages or AI-generated images, or anything else. I do not tolerate AI.
A perfect opening message would be a good introduction, kinks and limits, your character, whatever. "Wanna roleplay?" is not a good opening message and will be skipped. “I’m Interested” tells me nothing and will get ignored. 

Currently I am in Eastern Standard Time, available for most of the day beyond classes and occasional other stuff. Granted I am usually a bit busy on weekends. However my schedule is subject to change.

Roleplay

While I was signing up for my first year college courses, one subject came up. Humanities. Given the fact that I was getting a degree in urban planning, I tried to pick a humanities class in that subject. Unfortunately, they were all full. I figured the next best option was to educate myself more about race and whatnot, coming from a small city that was very heavily white. And as I tried to apply for some, one fit my schedule best. Africana Studies. I decided why not. And now I had lectures and tutorials for Africana Studies every Friday in my second semester. 

First semester came around and I did an awful job at making friends. By the time I left for Christmas Break, the only contact I had was still just my suitemate. I hoped second semester would be better. But knowing how pathetically shy I was, that was probably not going to happen. Well, until I got to my Africana Studies class. I definitely stood out. I figured nobody would want to hang out with me like any other class. But, as with the usual first lectures and tutorials, the professor called for everyone to approach the next person over. I sat at the edge of the table, and so I expected everyone would find partners before I could catch someone’s eye. But, to my surprise, that wasn’t the case. The girl sitting next to me was taken. The girl a row across was taken. The guy in the row in front of me was thankfully taken. But as I looked over at the row behind, there was another girl who hadn’t had a partner yet. My eyes met her, and it seemed I found a partner.

And that wouldn’t just be it. We shared a lecture, and we apparently shared a tutorial, and any time in the future I needed a partner, my eyes found yours as I hoped you hadn’t found someone else for the assignment, and every time I was lucky enough to get to sit next to you again. And maybe things would spiral out from there.

Plot Info

So, maybe a bit different than the typical roleplay. I’ve been wanting to do some form of interracial roleplay for a while, and I wanted to keep it nice and cute and wholesome and hopefully in a way that maybe becomes a bit of a place to learn about one another and history. And I figured that maybe something like Africana Studies(which focuses on Africans across the world rather than just Africa) could be a good plot point to bring things together. (Though really if you want to do something less focused on race then we can do a normal class). Plus with my character being an urban planner, the intersection could be interesting, as a lot of the post wwii urban planning decisions were rooted in racism, like white flight and redlining. 

I was looking to set this in NYC, though if you’d rather set this in like Chicago, Philadelphia, DC, Boston, or even Toronto, I’d love to do those cities too. I figured there’d be some events not just on campus. And I figured this would be more of a classmates to friends to lovers. I want to let them enjoy a bit of the best friends type situation before inevitably falling for each other, so it’s a bit of a slow burn.

About my character: Stella, while coming from a small city in the Pacific Northwest, has always loved the big city. She’s traveled around the world before college. She’s an artist as well, she draws, and enjoys listening to music(admittedly mostly old hip-hop), reading(sci-fi, horror, nerdy city books, some sapphic romance…), and watching movies(sci-fi, horror, thriller). And occasional gamer. She likes trying foods(even if she struggles with selective eating(‘picky eater’ is a degrading term)). And while she likes socializing, she’s very shy to the point that approaching someone becomes nearly impossible, but if someone approaches her, she’ll talk. She’s on the smaller side, being short and thin, long brown hair, freckles, pale skin, gray-blue eyes, and cute. Wears a lot of skirts.
