I (AFAB) 25 do not know what to think...
Hello so... I've never made a post on reddit but after seeing all of the helpful advice on here I just wanted to see if anyone could bring light to the current fog in my head, or at least tell me i am not alone.
I am a 25 years old AFAB person, I live in Italy and since I was 18 I always thought that I was a trans man and as i got diagnosed with dysphoria I started T pretty much immediately, yet lately (when i mean lately it's like pretty much about a year) I've been feeling a shift that has only gotten stronger through the time in the image I see of myself. I just do NOT see myself as a man anymore and actually I HATE the idea of getting seen by society as a man and this shit is messing me up BAD, because I've just finished with changing my legal name and gender (also on the list for top surgery and partial hysterectomy) and like... I was SO SURE of being a man for 7 years and yet now I just want to be seen and express myself as a woman... like... HUH????
How can I just switch from wanting to tear my tits off for years to actually admiring them in the mirror and from liking my beard to wanting to cut it off and never see it again???
I cannot tell if it's me experiencing gender fluidity or if I was just deadass wrong with my want to be a guy and it was just my frustration with not being able to express myself properly as masc girl/tomboy when i was a child and now that it is much more normalised I've realized that I can express myself without being shamed. I just cannot find a solution in my head because since Italy is so gendered in our language there is literally no neutral possibility for me to be just they/them and I just... am so lost with myself.
For now the solution I have is that i've asked a few friends of mine to call me by she/her sometimes to see how I react, but in the case I find myself successful with this... I really REALLY dont want to go through the burocracy hell that is changing my legal name and gender anymore, but i don't know if i can just ignore that issue and live my life as i want since my name is masculine and I will most likely start expressing myself as a girl more.
Sorry for the long post but yeah this has been my issue with myself lately
