Stressed supermarket delivery driver
Hi
Im 33, autistic and work as a supermarket delivery driver.
On top of this, I am moving into my own place for the first time this week and I am sitting numerous exams for my MSc.
Im a 16 hour contract worker but im on for 9 days in a row next week. I've not been able to take any statutory annual leave due to staffing shortages.
I made a very bad mistake at work this morning, mixing up 2 customers orders and my manager was understandably very upset. This is a bad look for the company, will hit profit and no doubt cause additional workload for pickers through no fault of my own.
I feel I have hit my limit. There is no leeway ir grounds for me to cut back to my 16 when I asked as my contract contains a clause about my contract jsut being the minimum and that ive to work extra hours as the compnay requires. Therefore, my manager has no capacity to reduce ky hours down.
I think I'm burnt out.
