I'll keep this short because I know how many of these posts you scroll past.



In 2020 I opened a small clothing shop in Gaza. I lived in Turkey and did the sourcing — fabrics, sizes, the things that actually sell — and shipped it over. In late 2023 the shop was destroyed, along with a house I was finishing for the family I hadn't started yet. I'm still in Turkey. I'm married now, my son was born in April, and I work remotely as an accountant for less than our rent.



I owe over $20,000. I'm not asking anyone here to pay that. If someone cleared it tomorrow and I still had no work that covers us, it would be back inside a year. What I'm actually short of is working capital.



Clothing is the only trade I know properly. The company is registered in the UK — DIVAFASHION LTD, no. 16932732, you can look it up on Companies House. The online store is already built at fashionsdiva.com. My suppliers in Istanbul still know me. The one thing I can't produce myself is a first stock order, because everything I earn goes to keeping us afloat.



The goal is £30,000 for stock, a small shop and six months of running costs. But the useful number is £9,000 — at that point stock starts arriving and I can sell online immediately. I'm publishing every invoice on the page as it's spent.



Two things I'd appreciate, in this order:
