It's so sad seeing what private equity has done to Volcom

I have been wearing Volcom since 2002 and have collected a number of shirts my wife has bought me throughout the years.

Now my preteen loves Volcom and although it's amazing seeing him in a brand I also wore 25 years ago, the clothes is just not the same.

It looks like something that is sold at JCPenney. Which is ironic because they have a section at JCPenney.

My wife let him go crazy on Volcom.com and he bought about 8 shirts and they're almost ALL the same. A small design on the left chest, and a bigger one on the rear and done. They have no style or effort put into them.

But he's happy and that's all that matters.
