Motril Visit Help

We are taking a cruise that stops in Motril. We are doing a lot of city stops and I don’t think I want to go to Grenada/the Alhambra after so much time in cities. Originally, we booked a car to go hike between Nerja and Frigiliana and check out those towns, but did not realize until already abroad that we would need an IDP to drive here (oops). We cancelled our car but any advice for what to do instead?
