Is saying “Bless You” after a sneeze becoming less common?
I consider myself a polite sneezer - directed at the inside corner of the elbow. It doesn’t happen frequently but I’ve noticed more and more - no bless you!
Not on the train, not in a restaurant - I was even in the emergency room last week visiting my brother, no bless you in the waiting room.
I always say bless you, not a religious thing in the slightest, just makes everyone feel better, the sneezer and the blesser. Anyone else noticed this?
