Is there anyway to explain the kid slayer’s juror being held accountable for possible dv and her not besides blatant racism?

Hurts my heart to even say this but there is no way I can see this any other way… white woman ends 3 kids “it’s a mental health thing, we need to help these people” black man decides to hold her accountable for those sick actions and he is now under public trial… I’ve always looked for reasons to explain and I guess cope that my country isn’t as bad as it is but this one hurts to know they can kill kids but we can’t even cross the street while chewing gum…
