Did the computer tech destroy my computer?

So my asus vivobook laptop stopped charging, and only charging on specific positions and such. I figured all I’d need is to find a place with a multimeter to check my charger, so i headed to quadstar maybe ten steps down the street.
The guy there took it to the back and plugged in every barrel plug that fit, regardless of voltage, to see if it charged. It did. Not enough to turn it on though.

I didn’t clock that as a stupid fucking idea until now. Is that something he shouldn’t have done? Am I fucked?
