Potential build question

I understand that the magic system is supposed to be revamped before early release. I've had a build in mind for quite some time , and i'm just wondering if it's going to be possible. Essentially , I would like to make a battle necromancer. Buy thatI mean , heavy armor great sword and life drain and or raising undead minions , possibly with a secondary and storm magic for lightning attacks. Is all of that possible? The path of blight sounds like it might be , and I know references to necromancy , where made before , but I haven't seen anything about it in any of the gameplay footage.
