I hate what the monthly badges became

I loved when they were first introduced and became obsessed with collecting them. So far I haven't missed a single one. However, starting this month, I might just drop it all together for three reasons

1. I miss the old "collect 1000 XP this month" parameter. You could go at your own pace. Daily quests obligate you to do them every day just three a day. So on the days I have bunch of free time I can do only three, and on the days I am busy I have to do at least one to keep up despite not feeling like it. They also kinda obligate you to have bunch of friends, otherwise everyone might just end up being taken when it comes time for the friendship quests, which is worth five daily ones. I want to learn a language, not collect randoms I don't even know just so I can complete the monthly quest

2. System is buggy as hell. Just today I did all 3 daily quests and my bar hasn't moved an inch. Not the first time it happened, won't be the last. I am tired, boss

3. I hate how the bar keeps rising each month. Last month it was 60, this one is 65. When will it end, at 100? I understand it's streak related, but why am I being punished for having a high streak and completing quests each month? It's like Duo wants me to give up
