Staying at Los Lagos near Arenal-question

Has anyone that stayed at this hotel or nearby ones pre booked activities? There’s no way to do it online so it sounds like something they offer once you are there but I’d like to know what options there are. It’s sort of hard to get through to hotel.

Did anyone pre book excursions? Or just wait you until you get there? We are interested in doing a night hike, sloth walk, maybe a longer hike or two. Thanks!
