aita for wanting to end a friendship?

I've been good friends with this girl for now 4 years. She lives across the country so we just saw eachother every 2 months or so and do a sleep over. However, at some point, she got busy and we stopped meeting up, but still chatting online multiple times a week. I haven't seen her in almost 2 years. Every time I suggest meeting up again she painfully turns my idea down, saying she's too busy with work or something. Imo that's not an issue, If we plan far enough in advance, she can just ask a day off.

Apperently she is competing in some kind of national champion ship this weekend, and I asked if i could come watch, it's free for spectators. However, she did NOT want me to come at all.

At this point, I'm debating wether or not to "end" the friendship, to not make any bad memories and just keep the good ones as is.

What should i do?
