Be honest, which decade was looked down upon more: how people in the 90s saw the 80s, or how people in the 2000s saw the 90s?

I think the 80s was mixed back in the 90s until it was glorified in the early 2000s. I saw a lot of comments saying the 80s was seen as trashy and cring3 back in the 90s, which is basically how every decade is seen before they become nostalgic 20 years later

I also saw that a lot of people in the 2000s still thought the 90s was bad and thought anything after 1997 was trash and stagnant, and there were still a lot of boomers saying Nirvana ruined everything
