Locks & keys

:BlocksAndItems:[Blocks & Items]:BlocksAndItems:

Locks would be a new item crafted with a copper ingot and an iron nugget. Locks can be applied to copper doors, trapdoors, chests and copper golem statues. Locks increase the block toughness of blocks they’re placed on greatly but prevent them from being interacted/edited. Locks also prevent oxidation from progressing.

Keys can then be crafted with two copper nuggets placed next to each other. Keys can then be oxidised by putting a water bottle next to them in the crafting gui, increasing their oxidation stage by 1. Keys can be used to remove locks, dropping the lock in item form when removed, but also consuming the key.

HOWEVER!!! Keys can only remove locks from blocks they share an oxidation stage with. For instance, a pristine copper key cannot open an oxidised locked chest. The key must be similarly oxidised to open it.

My reason for this addition? I think copper chests could use more to separate them from regular chests. A lock/key mechanic has also never been implemented and could be interesting for map makers who want to make key puzzles without too much complication.
