Looking for modern gut-wrenching films, preferably foreign and 2020+

I'M REQUESTING

Something like Close (2022) that deals with the aftermath of an unfortunate event suicide, death, loss, or some irreversible tragedy and really stays in that emotional space. Aftersun came somewhat close, and All of Us Strangers too, but neither quite hit me like Close.

I’m especially looking for films on these themes, not just generally “sad” movies. Lesser-known recommendations would be great!

I’ve watched Aloners (2020), Fremont (2023), Sometimes I Think About Dying (2023) and am looking for others along these lines.
