[A4A] Reunion Revenge from a hexing vexed ex.

Inspired by stories like those by Wandrer and many others in that vein.

Letting bygones be bygones, my ex had reached out to make a peace offering. She wanted to meet my new girlfriend, and invited us over for a small dinner. Four of us. Me, her, Beccy and my mother, so you didn't feel like a third wheel. I was glad things weren't weird between us. My last relationship hadn’t been bad, exactly. The spark just faded after a few years.

My new girlfriend, Beccy, was different: confident, smart, effortlessly attractive. The kind of woman you imagine a future with. Even my mother approved - a relief, given how “witchy” you were. Fun when you’re young, maybe, but exhausting by your late twenties. What I didn’t know is that you'd simply been biding your time until you could get us in a room together on a very special night of the year.

Big sudden changes are fun, but I'd like something where I, or a couple of us, are forced to hide the changes, or reality changes so we are forced to live with a "new normal".
