2012 Hyundai I20 turn signal not making the ticking noise

Have had this problem ever since I’ve had the car, turn signal and hazards flash done and at a normal speed but no audible sound inside the cabin. I’m not sure if the noise is artificial from a speaker or if it’s still the flasher unit?
