Disappearing ex 33M and 28 F

venting/ranting

So, we finally broke up. She tried to fix things, but i didn’t trust her after so much screaming, pressuring me, and manipulating behaviors. So, i held my ground. Then, she just disappeared after the break up. I reached out 3 months later because tbh, i am still confused and want a conversation for closure, assuming things have calm down and she can have it. Kind of upset that i was left with all the fear and anger, and i leave like the bad guy who broke up with her and didn’t try hard enough. I was just afraid and had to break up because i didn’t want to be screamed at anymore or pressured. I also did try to communicate and be kind for two years. It was not until she saw me that i was really leaving that she sought help.

However, by this time, i was exhausted. And i was not sure if she was doing this to guilt me into staying. Constantly told me she was doing and getting help to be with me. It was not an easy break up. I could have communicated better at the end, but it was hard because she kept pressuring me and i was scared of her outburst . However, now i am surprised that she disappeared into thin air and never replied to my request for a conversation after 3 months post break up. I think the appropriate thing to do was at least an acknowledgment of the message and say i don’t want this conversation, and that would give me some closure. I also expressed it is ok to tell me that she can say no. What is your experience with these types of situations, especially with people who have bpd-like symptoms. To note, i was clear at the end and told her that was she was doing was abuse. I just wish she one day says sorry without expecting anything in return
