Begging the universe for a 2BHK near Mahadevapura before I lose my mind (~40k, move-in end Sept)

Okay Bangalore, I need help before this house hunt fully breaks me.

We're a married couple looking for a 2BHK in or around Mahadevapura. Budget is around 40k. We want to move in by the end of September.

Sounds simple, right? Except:

- Every listing that says "40k" magically becomes 48k + 10 months deposit + "maintenance extra" the second you call.

- Half the brokers ghost you after you share your number, the other half send you a photo of a completely different flat.

- NoBroker "owner" leads that are… somehow always a broker.

- And the flats that are actually nice got booked while I was typing this sentence.

So I'm throwing myself at the mercy of Reddit. If you:

- are moving out of a decent 2BHK in that area,

- know an owner renting directly (bless you),

- or have a genuine broker who doesn't treat rent like a crypto price chart,
