Study help

Hello everyone, I’m a trainee in the works, studying the self pace course under WECA, in norcal.

Long story short, I need help, I read the books, study the chapters, try to learn but nothing sticks.

My mentor does electrical for industrial plants like mining facilities and told me the things I’m learning doesn’t really apply to the work we’ll be doing.

I ask for help but the answers are all around confusing to me.

I cannot learn by books alone, I need to know what I’d going to be doing, how to do it, I would like to be taught and tested on things, I can’t just watch, I need to get my hands on to memorize.

I’m not an online learner, I tried that 5x before. I learn in person, on the field, by my hands.
