PTDY for non-AFSC related AF COOL Course

I am a maintainer but I want to take a medical course through AF COOL but I don’t know if I could get a PTDY to attend. I know it’s up to sq commander discretion and I know many people who have gotten a PTDY for their A&P but I understand it’s different since it’s AFSC related. I just want to see if there’s anyone that’s gotten approved for PTDY for a non-AFSC related course.
