Career Advice

I’ve been working on site as a Clinical Research Nurse for less than a year and I do enjoy the process and work ethic involved. I’ve learned that at my CRO that the nurses are more hands on and have a lot more responsibilities than other CRO’s. I also have communication and coordinate with PM, QC and the Data Entry teams. My wife has been in research as for almost 10 years now and she’s looking to become a CRA. I’ve come across some monitors here but I don’t really interact with them. Upon visiting this subreddit I see this role is very sought after. My wife has been CSM, Operation Coordinator, CRN, and Clinical Supervisor. I expect come next year she’ll probably be a CRA at her CRO, but I wanted to know from a CRN how I can path towards a career CRA as well, and if it’s even advisable given that it’s hard to get in to. I would also appreciate any insight on a moving up in research in general, from CRN.
