Upgrade from 14 pro max to 18 PM or 17 PM?

I’m so conflicted. I currently have a iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 gb. I’m not sure if I should upgrade to 18 Pro Max or buy the 17 pro max and then do another upgrade once the iPhone 20 comes (because something tells me they’re gonna do a lot more to that version that the 18 and 19).

What would you do?
