afm upper years - any tip for first years?

as the title says, i'm wondering if you have any tips for first years who are adjusting to university life. advice on courses, managing the heavy workload and professors that you wished you knew in your first year

one thing that many of us are struggling w at the moment are the crazy amount of pre-class stuff.. pre-readings, quizzes, reports all in the first week of school. do profs acc expect you to read 8+ articles before a class?

is afm really an easy program cuz we can barely breath atm
