How does having strong emotional awareness affect your interactions?
For me, emotional intelligence varies across many factors, acting as a flexible tool rather than a rigid trait. Ultimately, it helps me understand and set up high standards for my interactions with others. Because my emotional awareness shifts depending on the situation, the people involved, and my own self-reflection, it keeps me from settling for shallow connections. Instead, this pushes me to expect a higher level of mutual respect, active listening, and empathy in my daily communication, ensuring my relationships are always meaningful and clear. In a room, I manage my own emotional reactions during tense moments, and truly hear what someone is saying beneath their words.
