When will things get better

Relatively new to collecting, but things are extremely bad out here. All ages, scalping and camping and clearing out stock instantly. I haven't been a part of the trade long enough to know what is normal, will this ever end? For someone who has been here through multiple timelines, can you describe what might happen? I will never ever buy resale to try and help the reduce the scalping from letting them sit on their inventory, but does that even really matter because will things always be like this?
