A moving car on the street waiting for a stop sign (full of young white men?) were shouting at me when they drove past and some were sticking their heads out the window with their middle fingers up... I was the only one on the sidewalk and I don't know them and never even interacted with them?

I am honestly so confused. They were shouting something but I couldn't hear them.

This isn't the first time something happened to me. One time in New York City and another time in Philadelphia. Is this something that they do or something I am doing that is attracting this behavior? I was wearing a plain t-shirt and shorts with sneakers, and I am not white.

It's always a car full of young men shouting something at me that I cannot understand. This time it seems like the vibe is funny in a sense, like they were shouting with middle fingers up and laughing.

But if this were just a one time thing, I would not write this, but this has happened to me multiple times already.
