Are these signs or no?

Alright so I’m a freshman male and I would consider myself a 7/10 on looks. Back home I was kinda around the same people all my life and didn’t get much attention from women. Now on campus I legitimately daily see women eyeing me and like turning to look at me a couple of times and these are some very pretty women. I don’t want to get my hopes up or anything and I’m here for my degree not hooking up but having female friends doesn’t sound too bad. So to my question, are these signs that I should like go up and spark a conversation or is it kinda ordinary and I’m overthinking it? Thanks!
