Can you guys please stop despising people's existence just because they like rap music?

Once in a while, I always hear people on social media hate on rap music and have a whole entire following behind them. I tried to go and tell them that it's not sad because of Nas, Wu Tang, Kendrick, Tupac, the list goes on and on. But for some reason they like to focus on stereotypes and the whole "it's nothing but violence" rhetoric. I'm not saying that you should go and like rap music, but I'm definitely not saying that being complete jerks to people is justified because you don't like them.
