Help with activating mods

So I'm activating mods and it does show that it's activated but nothing shows up in the game.
I've tried every mod I can think of to see if anything shows up but nada.
I've also tried using different mod managers or trying to make a mods.txt file to get it working but that doesnt work either

Does anyone have any advice?

(Non-pirated copy btw)
