New to poetry, looking for feedback

I've never really be a writer but i've started to make poems recently and was wondering what others thought and how i can improve

1st poem

eyes js like clouds on a rainy day

lashes trying to wipe it all away

but the rain is persistent

and the wipers cant stay consistent

rain roars louder than ever

yet it wont be forever

the rain will clear

but rain will always reappear

2nd poem

young mice learn the risk

that comes with appeal

but still wish for a meal

how could one resist

got quite a fright

afraid to explore

yet wanted more

a cherry came in sight

how could one resist

despite the plight

the coming bite

didn't resist

the cherry was sweet

no longer wanting more

no need to entreat
