Who should my “Author Appreciation Thread” post be about tomorrow?

I make posts every now and then that cover and focus on great authors who, in mine and others opinion, do not get enough attention.

Not because they aren’t great, but because the Booktube rotating wheel of spectacle over meaning theme park rpg series get all of the promotion while superior authors suffer at the wayside.

So, obviously not considering anyone that’s part of the Booktube Booktok top 20.

Not saying those are all terrible series, only some of them.

I am saying that none of them are masterpieces.

There are actual masterpieces in this genre.

So, who should it be?

I was co sedating L.E Modesitt jr for his Recluse Saga and his Spellsong cycle.

Both incredible well crafted fantasy series with rich worlds and thoughtful explorations of society and chaos vs order,

Stephen R. Donaldson is on my list for one of these posts. A severely misunderstood artist.

Jaqueline Carey is a contender too, for her goddess prose and her amazingly well realized fully functional world.

Daniel Abraham is overdue for some praise and some promotion.

C.J Cherryh easily tops anyone on the BookTube top 25

Glen Cook and many others.

But I wanted y’all’s option.

Who should I give the next appreciation thread to?
