[M4F] One Last Time (We Both Know It’s a Lie)
The morning light was cutting through the blinds when I finally opened my eyes.
You were still in bed next to me, sheet pulled up to your waist, hair a mess against the pillow. My hand was resting on your hip like it belonged there. It definitely didn’t.
I was just about to say something when your phone started buzzing on the nightstand.
I could feel you tense up, which makes sense, we both know who's the one calling. I watched you sit up, clear your throat, and answer with a voice that was almost steady.
“Hey… yeah, I’m up.”
I listened for you speaking second. Then I shifted closer anyway, the thrill was half of it, I leaned in to press my mouth against the side of your neck.
Your free hand came up fast and slapped mine away, hard enough to sting.
“Stop,” you whispered under your breath, still on the call. Then, louder into the phone, “No, nothing. Just… getting ready.”
I sat back against the headboard, watching you. You kept the conversation going, something about plans later, something about missing them, while your other hand stayed clenched in the sheet. When you finally hung up, the silence in the room felt heavier than it should have.
“This can’t keep happening,” you said quietly. “We said last time was the last time.”
I let out a short breath. “We always say that.”
“I mean it this time.” You ran a hand through your hair, still not fully facing me. “We have to do better. This… whatever the hell this is… it isn’t fair. To anyone.”
I nodded like I agreed. Part of me even did. The logical part. The part that knew how messy this already was and how much messier it could get.
“I know,” I said. “We shouldn’t.”
“This is the last time,” you repeated, softer now.
We both knew it was a lie.

Heya,
Hope you enjoyed the starter. I kept it pretty vague on purpose so we could shape the characters together.
The basic idea is two people who keep hooking up when they really shouldn’t. I originally had a cheating affair in mind, but I’m leaving the exact relationship completely open so we can decide what feels hottest.
Some possibilities: Exes who can’t stay away from each other, Your character is married (or in a relationship) and mine is the other person, Friend’s wife / husband’s friend, Best friend’s sibling, Co-workers who are both already in relationships, Neighbors, Old fling that never properly ended
If we want to lean a bit more taboo: Step-siblings, Boss and employee, Professor and (former) student, Best friend’s parent, Or anything else that has that “we really shouldn’t” tension
I'm open to other ideas as well.
I usually write a few paragraphs and can do both first and third person. I like using face claims too.
If this caught your eye, send me a message and we can talk details.
