What to play if team needs AD?

Hey guys, I am a returning player after a break of 5 years. I was master back then and mainly play mage mid.

My game plan is mostly around having high map awareness. I push constantly with trying my best farming, then making plays with my jungler and helping out side lanes. As the game goes on I am scaling quickly and becoming a major threat at midgame. Therefore I do not prefer melee mages or assassins.

After playing like a week I realized best picks are Victor, Lissanda, Syndra, Ahri and Xerath. But my question is what to play if team needs an AD character? Sometimes people are taking double mage bot or mage top+AP jungler and I am expected to take an AD character. Due to my play style, I do not prefer champions like Zed, Yasuo, Talon etc.

There are like 20-30 champions I still do not know, so question is what to pick in a situation like this?

Is it okay to pick an ADC mid if team already has double mage bot?
