English speaking babysitter

My name is Alina, and I’m looking into moving to France, likely Avignon around summer next year for personal reasons.

I’m a qualified nurse from Vienna, Austria, with experience in pediatrics and also several years of experience in childcare. I speak German and English fluently and I’m currently learning French. However, I don’t think my French will be good enough to work comfortably in French by next summer.

I’m therefore interested in working as a nanny, ideally with a family where German and/or English would be useful. I would love to continue improving my French while working with children but I am primarily looking for English or German speaking families.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with finding nanny/childcare work in France without being fluent in French, or if you know of any families, agencies or platforms that might be suitable for someone in my situation.

Any advice, personal experiences or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 😊
