Checking out Austin soon

I'm 23 and visiting Austin from Oregon soon. I'm potentially considering Austin as a place to move in the future, so I don't really want to do just the typical tourist stuff.

I'm really into alternative fashion, vintage/thrifting, music, cars, creative stuff and meeting people around my age.

What neighborhoods or random locals spots would you recommend checking out?

Also, if you live here, what would you recommend I pay attention to during my visit if I'm trying to figure out whether Austin would actually be a good fit for me?
