Match day staff happy to see us concede and lose
I'm going to preface this post by saying I understand not every member of the match day staff will be a Palace supporter and many of them will support other clubs. But I don't think it's right that the club is employing stewards that want to see us lose games so the stadium clears out quicker at full time just so they can go home 10-15 minutes earlier. These guys are getting their wages paid by the club. The optics of them being happy to see the club that employs them lose football matches is so wrong. I was in the concourse in the Arthur yesterday and heard a conversation between two stewards talking about how they were glad to see us down to 10 men and trailing because it makes it likelier Palace lose so the stadium empties quicker at the end of the game. Feel like this issue really ought to be raised to the stand managers, senior supervisors and the match day coordinator in charge of the staffing
