AITA for breaking up with my boyfriend of 4 years over text
I(f22) and my boyfriend (m23) have been together for the last 4 years. For the past year it’s been nothing but arguments, from me not being touchy enough, to even arguing about our sex life and how I wasn’t doing enough. It got to the point where I was bringing up breaking up almost every couple of months, and then he would tell me we both could just work through it and to “not give up”. My last straw was him saying I was ghosting him for not texting him for three hours after I had told him I was going to the beach with my family. We had a pretty big argument and although I wanted to break up he convinced me to take a 3 month break and see how we feel. The three months has passed and every red flag I should’ve saw before is suddenly glaringly red. I don’t really want anything to do with this man. The problem is that I’m afraid if we talk again I might get sucked into the guilt tripping of him not wanting to end the relationship, so would I be the asshole for breaking up with him over text?
