What way to do you face in a restaurant when you are with your partner?
I saw a post from a guy about how he always takes the seat facing the doorway and the rest of the restaurant so he can spot danger as the expense of his wife who gets to stare at a wall. I've only discovered this is a thing, particularly in the US.
As a guy, it blew my mind a bit I always give my other half the better seat so she can people watch, which usually means seeing more of the restaurant while I have my back to everything, which I'm fine with.
To me, I've never given much thought until now and if I felt like I need to spot danger somewhere, I wouldnt be going on a date there in the first place.
Have I been doing in wrong all these years?
