How bad is it going to get?

Recently started caring for my LO. My boyfriend and I started living with her after she escaped the house during a severe bout of confusion over the summer that lasted about a month. She’s capable of most things, though her vision and comprehension are pretty bad.

The tests she’s taken have shown she’s nearing/in the very final stage of decline, but she has remained really sweet, capable, and relatively lucid.

I’m just nervous after reading some of the stories on here.

I know everyone is different, and there’s no way to know for sure. But what really happens near the end? I just want to prepare for it mentally…
