Why does my QKZ AK6 Max sound noticeably better on my Samsung Tab A9 than my Infinix Hot 60 Pro?
Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out why my QKZ AK6 Max sounds noticeably better when plugged into my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 compared to my Infinix Hot 60 Pro.
I’m using the exact same IEM, same songs, and as much as possible the same volume/settings. But on the Tab A9, the sound seems clearer and more enjoyable, while on the Infinix it sounds different and not as good to my ears.
Both devices are Android, so I initially thought they would sound pretty much the same with a wired IEM.
Could this be caused by:
- Different DAC/audio hardware?
- The 3.5mm headphone output on the Infinix?
- Android audio processing/DSP?
- EQ or sound-enhancement settings?
- Different output impedance?
- Volume differences making one seem better?
Is there anything I can change on my Infinix Hot 60 Pro to make the AK6 Max sound closer to how it sounds on the Tab A9?
Any advice on what settings I should check would be appreciated. Thanks!
