I think my first attempt to read shadow slave started on the wrong chapter. Oops.

About half a year ago I tried reading shadow slave and was completely unable to comprehend what was happening. I kept reading chapters thinking that maybe if I read far enough things would be explained and I would no longer be floundering in the dark. I ended up dropping it.

Anyway a couple of days ago I started reading the manhwa because at least the pretty art would help. I’m instantly hit with literally all the exposition thats needed within the first chapter. I go quickly check the novel and it’s completely different from how I remember it.

Realization: Oops, I am a monumental idiot.

I’ve been really enjoying the story! Currently on chapter 200. I now see that the novel is not a complete mess. My mistake!

Note: still not 100% sure which chapter I accidentally dropped onto lol
