New aang tech?

I was mid-combo in a match and I made the mistake of hitting 214C after the 214C > j.5F > j.B > 5A > 5B > 2C string, which normally would cause me to drop my combo after the hit. However, on instinct, I input my level 4 and to my shock and awe, it canceled the jump after the hit, keeping want on the ground and causing the level 4 to hit. After a little testing I found it works best in the corner but it can be used anywhere, and you can also go into level 7. Has anyone else found this?
