How to find scholarships for out of state freshman?

hii so I’m attending college in California, however my home address is New Jersey so finding local scholarships have been hard. I’m coming on here to ask how to find small scholarships or any scholarships at all, I need the money mostly to pay for flights and living costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
