Harry's Ex - (Spoiler)

Hi everyone,

This might seem like a pretty obvious question, but is Harry's Ex literally Dolores Dei, or, is it as I assume it to be, that Harry's Ex was just a woman who he was deeply in love with, who broke his heart, and now he projects the literal personification of perfection and innocence on to her as some sort of coping mechanism?
