Foreign brokerage account

So i opened vested account in june 2026 but never added funds in it and didn't bought any us stocks and i am thinking to close it do i still need to disclose it next year as a foreign asset/ brokerage account in shedule FA or not can i keep account active for future if i don't add any funds and don't report it
