Can't I just used the ss of qr of the virtual card?

I mean virtual card gets you 10-20% discount, top up is super easy. The main thing I observed people complaining is about network error and app glitches but can't I just used ss of qr of virtual card (don't hate me if this is a dumb question, I have just started travelling in metro for college)
