Planning to buy Hyundai i20, is it being discontinued?

I’m planning to buy the Hyundai i20 Sportz (O) IVT, but I’ve recently heard that the i20 might be discontinued later this year.

Does anyone know if there’s actually any truth to this?

If it does get discontinued, are there any major downsides to buying it now? For example, would it affect resale value, spare parts/service availability, insurance, etc.?

Would you guys recommend going ahead with the purchase, or waiting for now?
