S25 in 2026 and longevity

Few weeks ago got myself s25 base model. It’s small, yet powerful and battery lasts me fine. I just switched from iphone, and i already love this phone more. I think I will not go back to Apple.

s25 is last years model (obviously not an issue spec wise), but it was around half price compared to new s26 one. How long do y’all plan to keep the s25/s26 (base) phones? I would like to keep it 4 years, more if possible. My goal would be no lag and still remain smooth and phone not feel outdated by then. Camera is also not worse at all compared to base iphone.

Is my goal of 4 years too much or reachable? I do not game heavily. In my opinion 4 years is fair for flaghip model. Obviously I will change battery, if it will degrade. Also updates are not issue at all, since they are promised to 2032 if I remember right.
